- $21,224.16* CDN for domestic students (Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents) payable in eight installments due at the start of July, September, January and May.
- $38,984.40* CDN for international students payable in eight installments due at the start of July, September, January and May.
* These fees are current as of the 2023/24 academic year. Tuition fees are reviewed annually by the Board of Governors. In recent years, tuition increases have been 2% for continuing domestic students and between 2% and 5% for continuing international students. All fees are subject to adjustment by UBC at any time; for more information on tuition and other fees, please refer to the UBC Calendar.
Graduate Student Fees
As this is an online program MUFL students are not assessed student fees. This means that AMS/GSS health and dental plan coverage is not provided, nor is access to the U-Pass transit program.
Non-refundable Acceptance Deposit
A non-refundable acceptance deposit of $1,000 is payable upon notification of acceptance into the MUFL program. The acceptance deposit is credited towards the first tuition installment. If the student does not commence the program, the deposit is forfeited.
Funding
This program is not eligible for Canadian student loans. Students in the part-time program are not eligible for teaching assistantships or scholarships.
